Our Mission - RJCA

Rajim Cricket Association (RJCA) is a dedicated grassroots initiative working towards the holistic development of cricket talent among children and youth from the backward and underprivileged communities of Rajim, Gariaband district and surrounding regions in Chhattisgarh.

Founded with the vision of empowerment through sports, GBDCA believes that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves a fair chance to dream, play, and excel. In areas where access to quality training, infrastructure, and exposure is often limited, we serve as a bridge—connecting raw talent to structured opportunity.

Our Mission

To identify, nurture, and develop cricket and sports talent among marginalized communities, creating pathways for personal growth, career opportunities, and social upliftment.

What We Do

  1. Talent Identification Camps: We regularly organize talent hunts and scouting camps across villages and tribal belts to discover budding athletes and cricketers.
  2. Quality Coaching & Training: RJCA provides coaching sessions, skill development, and physical training under certified coaches, with a focus on discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  3. Grassroot Infrastructure: We are working to build and maintain local-level training grounds, practice nets, and basic sports equipment accessible to all.
  4. Inclusive Sports Events: Our inter-village and district-level tournaments encourage participation from every corner of Gariaband and help boost confidence and community bonding.
  5. Scholarships & Sponsorships: For exceptionally talented children, we strive to connect them with scholarships, sponsorships, and admission to state or national-level academies.
  6. Awareness & Motivation: Through workshops, talks, and community engagement, we promote the importance of sports as a tool for education, health, and empowerment.

Why We Exist

Rajim, Gariaband and many parts of Chhattisgarh are home to immense untapped potential, particularly in rural and tribal areas. Due to lack of awareness, economic barriers, and poor access to resources, many talented children never get the opportunity to showcase or develop their skills. RJCA is committed to changing this narrative—one child, one game at a time.
